I think iron-on vinyl is easier to weed because it is still adhered to the plastic backing and you can pull on it pretty hard without intricate designs coming up. You will weed both iron-on vinyl and adhesive vinyl. The term will be used for all different kinds of vinyl so you will hear people talking about weeding HTV and/or weeding iron on vinyl or weeding vinyl.
